Children's Dentistry

Positive dental experiences early on set the tone for a lifetime of good oral health. We see kids of all ages, from first tooth through teenage years. Dr. Lee and our team take the time to explain things at their level, let them explore at their own pace, and make every visit something they don't dread.

Children's Dentistry

What We Offer for Kids

Our children's services include routine exams and cleanings, digital X-rays with minimal radiation, fluoride treatments to strengthen developing enamel, dental sealants to protect molars from decay, cavity treatment with tooth-colored fillings, space maintainers for early tooth loss, and orthodontic screenings.

We recommend a first dental visit by age 1 or within six months of the first tooth coming in, whichever happens first. Starting early helps us monitor development and catch concerns before they become problems.

Making It a Good Experience

Dental anxiety often starts in childhood, which is why we put extra effort into making visits positive. Dr. Lee explains instruments, lets kids touch and explore, and answers every question no matter how many times they ask.

Our team uses positive reinforcement, patience, and age-appropriate language. The goal is for your child to leave feeling proud, not scared. Kids who enjoy their dental visits grow into adults who take care of their teeth.

Tips for Parents

Your attitude shapes your child's. A few things that help: keep the language simple and positive. Avoid words like "shot," "pain," or "drill." Read a children's book about the dentist before the appointment. Let them bring a comfort item. Don't make promises about what will or won't happen, let our team guide the visit. And stay calm yourself. Kids pick up on anxiety fast.

If your child has had a bad experience somewhere else, tell us when you schedule. We'll adjust our approach and make sure Aspire feels like a fresh start.
