Checkups
Regular checkups are the foundation of everything we do. They let Dr. Lee catch problems early, often before you notice any symptoms. That means simpler treatments, less discomfort, and lower costs over time. We recommend every six months for most patients.

What Happens During a Checkup
Dr. Lee examines your teeth for signs of decay, cracks, or wear. He evaluates your gums for inflammation or disease, checks your bite and jaw alignment, and screens for oral cancer. It's a quick, painless visual and physical exam of your mouth, tongue, and throat.
We take digital X-rays on a schedule appropriate for your risk level. These reveal things that aren't visible to the eye: decay between teeth, bone loss, impacted teeth, and problems developing below the gumline.
After the exam, Dr. Lee reviews any findings with you and discusses recommendations. No pressure, just clear information so you can make informed decisions.
Why They Matter
Skipping checkups is how small issues become expensive ones. A cavity that could have been a simple filling turns into a crown. Early-stage gum inflammation that a cleaning could have reversed turns into gum disease. A cracked tooth that could have been caught becomes an extraction.
The checkup itself is quick and covered by most insurance plans. What it prevents is worth far more than the time it takes.

Every six months is standard for most patients. If you have active gum disease, frequent cavities, or other risk factors, Dr. Lee may recommend more frequent visits.
No judgment. Whether it's been two years or ten, come in. We do a thorough evaluation, take things at your pace, and build a plan to get you back on track. Many of our patients came to us after long gaps and are glad they did.
Most dental plans cover two preventive checkups per year at 100%. Our team verifies your benefits before your appointment so there are no surprises.

Cleanings
Even great brushing and flossing can't reach everything. Professional cleanings remove the plaque and tartar that build up in hard-to-reach areas, especially along the gumline and between teeth. It's one of the simplest and most effective ways to prevent cavities and gum disease.

Oral Cancer Screenings
Oral cancer screening is a quick, painless exam that Dr. Lee performs as part of every routine checkup. It takes just a few minutes and could catch something that saves your life. When detected early, oral cancer has a survival rate above 80%. When caught late, that number drops significantly.

Cavity Treatment
Cavities are one of the most common dental issues we treat and one of the most preventable. When decay breaks through your enamel, it creates a hole that only grows if left alone. Catching it early means a quick, simple fix. We use tooth-colored composite fillings that blend with your natural teeth so nobody can tell the difference.
