Invisalign

Invisalign uses custom-made clear aligners to gradually straighten your teeth without brackets or wires. They're nearly invisible, fully removable, and work for both teens and adults. Dr. Lee is an experienced Invisalign provider who treats everything from mild crowding to more complex alignment issues.

Invisalign

How It Works

Treatment starts with a digital scan of your teeth. No goopy impressions. Dr. Lee uses the scan to build a 3D treatment plan that maps every movement from start to finish. You'll see a preview of your result before you begin.

From that plan, a series of custom aligners are made for you. You wear each set for about 1 to 2 weeks, then switch to the next. Each one makes small, precise shifts. You'll come in every 6 to 8 weeks so Dr. Lee can check progress and make sure things are tracking. Most treatments run 10 to 24 months depending on complexity.

Why Patients Choose Invisalign Over Braces

The aligners come out for eating, brushing, and flossing. That means no food restrictions and no special cleaning tools. Most people won't even notice you're wearing them.

Invisalign handles a wide range of issues including crowding, spacing, overbite, underbite, and crossbite. For very severe or complex cases, traditional braces may still be the better route. Dr. Lee will tell you honestly which option gives you the best result during your consultation.

For teens, Invisalign Teen includes compliance indicators that show whether the aligners are being worn enough, plus replacement aligners in case any get lost.

What to Expect Day to Day

Wear your aligners 20 to 22 hours a day. Basically all the time except eating and brushing. You'll feel some pressure for the first day or two after switching to a new set. That's normal and means they're working. It's generally much less uncomfortable than a braces tightening.

Most patients say they forget they're wearing them after the first week. The aligners are smooth, thin, and don't irritate your cheeks or gums the way metal brackets can.
